About The Team
The IT Enablement function exists to make the company run as smoothly as possible: secure, automated, and improving over time. The Workplace Technology Specialist sits between the helpdesk pod and the IT Systems team. This is a sysadmin at heart with a network focus, owning the physical and infrastructure layer of the Stockholm office experience: onboarding logistics, hardware, and the local network spine.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own new-hire onboarding end to end on the technology side: devices staged, accounts and access provisioned, day-one setup, and the in-person welcome to our tools.
- Own the local hardware lifecycle (provisioning, stock, repairs, returns) and act as an escalation point above first-line support.
- Work with the IT Systems team on the office network spine: Meraki, structured cabling, and keeping meeting rooms, AV, and physical-security infrastructure (badge / access-control, cameras) up on the network and available.
- Lean into the shared ticket queue alongside the helpdesk pod. Everyone on the team carries tickets, and this role is no exception.
- Support the AV and conferencing estate: meeting rooms, all-hands, and event AV.
Who You Are
- 4–6 years across systems administration, IT operations, or workplace technology: a sysadmin at heart with a clear lean toward networking.
- Confident with office network fundamentals: you can trace a problem from the endpoint through the switch to the uplink, and you keep Meraki tidy.
- Hands-on and present: you can't stage a new hire's desk or recover a dropped meeting room remotely, and you like being the person on the floor who makes the space work.
- A collaborative operator: you work across the helpdesk pod, IT Systems, and Workplace without dropping threads.
- Comfortable on-site five days a week.
Nice to have
- Meraki administration and local network operations.
- Endpoint and onboarding logistics: macOS provisioning, Jamf / Apple Business Manager, and staging hardware for new hires.
- Physical-security infrastructure: badge / access-control and camera / CCTV (e.g. Verkada).
- AV and conferencing at scale: room design and acceptance testing (Neat, Zoom Rooms).
- Experience running support through an ITSM / service-desk platform, ideally AI-assisted.
- Experience with Neat, Zoom, Meraki, Verkada, Jamf, Apple Business Manager, and 1Password.
