Workplace Design & Strategy Specialist

Your Role As Workplace Design & Strategy Specialist, you will own and develop Saab’s common workplace strategy, design concepts and standards. Working closely with Business Areas, Group Functions, regional stakeholders and Property projects, suppliers and architects, you will provide strategic guidance and expertise to help create consistent, scalable and value-creating workplace solutions across Saab. In this role, you will combine business understanding, workplace design and workplace experience to ensure our workplaces support productivity, collaboration, security, sustainability and wellbeing. You will play a key role in translating strategic ambitions into practical solutions that create long-term value for both the business and our employees. Key Responsibilities: Own workplace strategy, standards and service models

• Own and continuously develop Saab's Workplace Strategy, including principles, target states and strategic design directions.
• Define and govern workplace standards and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability and quality across sites, while supporting local adaptations when needed.
• Ensure alignment between workplace strategy, real estate strategy, FM service delivery and digital solutions.

Act as senior advisor on workplace and workplace experience topics

• Act as Group Property's specialist on workplace design and functionality, workplace strategy, Saab branding and workplace experience.
• Advise Business Areas, regional leadership and Property Project organisations on workplace-related priorities, decisions and trade-offs.
• Support workplace planning, concept development and decision-making through expert input and structured recommendations.
• Own and develop workplace-related supplier partnerships and agreements in collaboration with Group Procurement and other relevant stakeholders.

Drive quality, continuous improvement and project support

• Support Property, Hubs, Business Areas, Group Functions and projects in delivering workplace solutions that reflect operational needs, sustainability ambitions and future ways of working.
• Ensure consistent application of workplace standards and translate lessons learned into updated standards and guidance.
• Strengthen collaboration between regions, projects and central expertise to reinforce a One Saab approach and enable consistent workplace delivery across Saab.
• Support workplace-related initiatives throughout the project lifecycle and act as a quality assurer for workplace-related solutions in major projects and strategic initiatives.

Drive market intelligence and cross-functional alignment

• Monitor workplace trends, market developments and best practices to ensure Saab's workplace strategy remains relevant, future-oriented and competitive.
• Translate external insights into improvements to workplace strategy, concepts and standards.
• Act as a key interface towards Group Functions such as Branding, HR, IT and Security, ensuring a coherent and aligned workplace direction across Group Property, Business Areas and Group Functions

You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach and are driven by continuous improvement and long-term value creation. Key competencies:

• Strong strategic, tactical and operational understanding of workplace design, strategy and workplace experience in complex, multi‑site environments
• High ability to translate business needs, external trends and strategic direction into structured, scalable workplace strategies and standards
• Strong competence for project interfaces, incl. the ability to support planning and guide execution of workplace‑related solutions
• Solid understanding of the interfaces between workplace design, Real Estate, Facility Mgmt., digital solutions and organisational development
• Comfortable acting as a trusted advisor and integrator between Group Property and cross-functional stakeholders
