What you'll do
We are looking for a cook for our Thai restaurant in Kuopio, where traditional Thai food is prepared using authentic methods.
The duties of the cook include working independently in preparing buffet lunches as well as dishes from the à la carte menu. There is also a possibility for independent work during evenings that bring extra hours. We require solid experience in wok cooking and in preparing Thai cuisine. Lunch service in particular is busy, so a thorough knowledge of Thai food is an absolute requirement.
Proficiency in English or Thai is considered a significant advantage. Basic knowledge of Finnish is a great value. When serving customers, Finnish language skills are required.
Part of the year, work is performed in a food stall at the market square, with the same tasks and responsibilities.
The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
