We are looking for a Wireless AI Algorithm Engineer
At the Wireless Algorithm Lab, we conduct advanced research on wireless algorithms for 5G-Advanced products and future 6G communication systems. By deeply integrating artificial intelligence with wireless communications, we aim to explore intelligent algorithms, data-driven approaches, and AI-native technologies for next-generation wireless systems, and to drive promising research outcomes toward practical systems and products.
We are looking for a Wireless AI Algorithm Engineer with a strong AI research background. The successful candidate should have received systematic academic training in machine learning, deep learning, or related areas, and should be capable of independently conducting cutting-edge AI research.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop innovative AI/ML algorithms and models for next-generation wireless communication systems; with application to optimization, prediction, and decision-making.
- Build and improve simulation environments, datasets, evaluation frameworks, and experimental methodologies required for algorithm research.
- Track state-of-the-art developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and wireless communications, identify promising research directions, and formulate innovative research topics.
Qualifications
- PhD or similar competence in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong academic background in AI/ML with a deep and systematic understanding of the field
- Expertise in AI research areas, such as deep learning, representation learning, generative models, sequence modeling, graph learning, reinforcement learning, foundation models, transfer learning, continual learning, or other emerging machine learning technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, with hands-on research experience using mainstream deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow;
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary research and engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
- A sustained track record of high-quality publications in leading AI/ML conferences or journals;
- Experience applying advanced AI methods to communications, signal processing, control, or other complex engineering systems;
- Industrial R&D experience with the ability to balance frontier research value with practical algorithm implementation and deployment considerations.
