What you'll do

Welder – Long-Term Position We are looking for a skilled Welder for our client for a long-term position in Urjala, Finland. In this role, you will work with a variety of technically demanding machine shop products and steel structures. The position is well suited for a welder who values high-quality workmanship, varied tasks, and the opportunity to develop their professional skills. You will work in a modern machine shop environment as part of a skilled and professional production team. Job Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include:

  • MIG/MAG welding of steel structures and machine shop products
  • Fitting, positioning, and tack welding of components
  • Preparing components for welding and carrying out finishing work
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
  • Manufacturing welded assemblies according to specified dimensions and requirements
  • Inspecting and measuring your own work to ensure quality
  • Working according to welding procedures and quality requirements
  • Cooperating with other production personnel and supervisors

The work involves manufacturing various steel structures and components for machinery and equipment, so the size, shape, and production stages of the components may vary from one project to another. What We Expect from You

  • Previous experience in MIG/MAG welding
  • Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience in fitting and tack welding
  • Precise and careful approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality results
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • A responsible attitude and willingness to develop your professional skills

Experience with TIG welding, submerged arc welding, or robotic welding will be considered an advantage. Experience with demanding machine shop products, steel structures, or subcontract manufacturing is also an advantage. You do not need to be experienced in every welding method to succeed in this position. Strong basic welding skills, motivation, and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities.
