Wellpack is looking for a skilled welder for our client company in Lohja to manufacture demanding industrial products. The client is a long-established Finnish technology industry company that manufactures demanding products and assemblies for industrial applications. Its production is characterized by high quality, strong technical expertise, and the processing of demanding materials.

What is the work like?

As a welder, your work will focus on demanding manual welding in a production environment. The products, materials, and material thicknesses vary, offering diverse tasks for an experienced welder. The work mainly involves acid-resistant and stainless steels, including duplex and super duplex materials. In addition, you will weld carbon steel and various combinations of materials.

The work is carried out in one shift 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of moving to a two-shift system. Depending on production needs, there may also be opportunities to work longer days and weekends. The position will start as soon as possible, according to agreement.

We expect you to have

• Strong previous experience in welding

• Experience in welding acid-resistant and stainless steels

• Ability to work with different materials and material thicknesses

• A precise and quality-oriented approach to work

• Valid Occupational Safety Card and Hot Work Card

• Good Finnish or English language skills

• Valid FW, PB, T+P, and FM5 qualifications, as well as FM1 qualification for carbon steel
