What you'll do

For our end client we are in the need of a Warehouse engineer / Material Engineer Start: As soon as possible Duration: 12 months plus possibility to extend Location: Different sites around Stockholm Our client is a global technology company delivering advanced solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects. As part of one of Sweden's most significant infrastructure developments, they are responsible for the installation, integration, and verification of critical electrical and technical systems within a major tunnel. We are now looking for a Warehouse Engineer / Material Engineer for monitoring and keeping track of material used for this major infratstructure project. The project is currently around 50% through the installation phase, with installation planned to continue into early 2028. The role reports to the Site Manager on site in Stockholm and works closely with the local installation partner, our clients project team in Sweden and purchasing / project management which is based outside Sweden. The material includes, but is not limited to, cameras, cabinets, loudspeakers, tunnel sensors, mounting brackets and other traffic/tunnel installation equipment. Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor and keep track of material that is missing, damaged, lost or no longer required.
  • Compare actual installation needs with material available at the HUB and on site, ensuring production is not stopped due to material shortages.
  • Compare inventory from the supplier warehouse, client containers, installation partner containers and service vehicles.
  • Establish an overview of remaining material requirements together with the Site Manager.
  • Maintain accurate registers of current, damaged, lost compared with remaining materials in the HUB.
  • Identify and investigate deviations and assess whether they are related to client, installation partner or other causes.
  • Report material deviations and requirements to the Site Manager and the Project Manager and purchasing organization.
  • Cooperate with partner and lead/facilitate meetings to ensure accurate material control and follow-up.
  • You will be part of the Yunex site team and may also support the Site Manager with SAT1 follow-up. This includes supporting the installation partner in identifying and preventing faulty installations, following up deviations and helping ensure that installations meet Yunex requirements so that integration and subsequent SAT2 can proceed smoothly.

  • We are looking for someone with a strong ability to create structure and a holistic overview in a complex project environment.
  • Structured and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working both on site and in the office.
  • Strong in coordination and cooperation with other parties.
  • Comfortable leading meetings and following up actions.
  • Analytical and able to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Proactive in identifying material shortages and project risks.
  • Comfortable working in a high-tempo and changing environment.
  • Experience from traffic installations, infrastructure, construction, electrical/technical installation, logistics or material management is highly relevant.
  • The right person does not necessarily need to come from a traditional warehouse background. We are also interested in Site Engineers, Material Engineers, Logistics Engineers, Project Engineers and similar technical profiles with strong material and coordination experience.
