Role snapshot
VP Customer & Commercial Data Centres | Nordics | Senior Leadership I am exclusively retained and partnering with a high growth technology and engineering business operating within the data centre sector to appoint a VP Customer & Commercial. This is a significant leadership hire at an important stage in the company's growth. Reporting into the C suite and joining the extended leadership team, this individual will be responsible for executing the company's newly defined customer and commercial strategy, translating ambitious growth plans into commercial performance, stronger strategic customer relationships and a scalable commercial organisation. This is not simply a sales leadership role. The VP Customer & Commercial will own the customer and commercial lifecycle from initial opportunity through delivery, service, renewal and growth, providing senior accountability for some of the organisation's most important customer relationships. The opportunity You will:
The role requires someone who can hunt for new business while building long term, trusted customer relationships. You will need the commercial ambition to drive growth, but also the credibility to engage with technically sophisticated customers and ensure commitments made commercially can be delivered operationally. The original brief specifically calls for someone able to sell and govern complex combinations of software, engineering, projects and recurring services, rather than purely transactional products. About you You will already have significant senior commercial, sales, customer or business leadership experience within the data centre industry. Relevant backgrounds could include data centre operators or developers, colocation, hyperscale, BMS, PMS, DCIM, EPMS, controls and automation, critical power and cooling, engineering services, commissioning or infrastructure software. You will bring:
Location Norway preferred, although I am open to candidates based elsewhere in Scandinavia. For the right individual, the role can offer flexibility to work remotely, with the expectation of travel into Norway and across the Nordics, with some wider European travel as required. This is an opportunity to join a business with ambitious growth plans at a point where the commercial organisation is evolving significantly, with genuine influence over how the strategy is executed and how the business scales from here. If your experience sits at the intersection of data centres, customers, commercial leadership and growth, I would be very interested in speaking with you. Please contact me directly for a confidential conversation.
