VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF) Senior Expert Location: Sweden/ Stockholm/ Hybrid Security Clearance: Position requires Swedish citizenship and eligibility to obtain clearance under Swedish Security Class 3/ C grade Skills: •VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF): Strong hands-on experience •vSphere & NSX: Strong knowledge and practical implementation •Traditional Networking Concepts: “CRITICAL” Thorough understanding of VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and IP networking. •vRA / vRO Automation: Strong understanding of VMware Aria Automation & Aria Orchestrator workflow development due to heavy utilization in the existing platform. •VKS / VMware Tanzu Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with VKS and container platforms. •Enterprise VMware Environments: Proven experience operating and managing infrastructure at scale. •Lifecycle Management: Experience with VMware patching, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting. •Incident & Change Management: Solid understanding of structured ITIL or enterprise operational workflows. •Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills; fluent in spoken and written English. Good to Have: •Terraform •PowerCLI / PowerShell •Python / Ansible •Git / GitHub •VMware HCX •Experience with large-scale private cloud environments Roles and Responsibility: Operate, maintain and develop a large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation environment. •Work hands-on with the VCF stack, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN and VCF Operations. •Support and develop VKS / VMware Tanzu Kubernetes capabilities. •Troubleshoot complex VMware, Kubernetes and infrastructure issues. •Perform VCF lifecycle management, upgrades and patching. •Work with NSX networking, routing and security. •Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams on platform integrations. •Support integrations with enterprise services such as backup, monitoring, PAM and CMDB. •Contribute to technical standards, documentation and operational processes. •Continuously improve the reliability and capabilities of the Private Cloud platform.
