With 69 Innovation and R&D design centres globally, we specialize in disruptive technology spaces such as 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Collaborative Robots, Digital Factory, and Autonomous Transport We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities :- Vehicle Diagnostic Test Engineer Gothenburg, Sweden JD: Description of the assignment Perform product quality investigations on vehicles on the market. Failure mode analysis and supporting root cause analysis for field quality problems. Proposing containment actions. Performing customer focused function acceptance testing on new and revised in car functions. Responsibilities & Tasks: • Perform Product quality investigations describing problem to be solved and providing data to aid resolution, including reproduction of issues. • Task management of product improvement issues within technical area in Jira and GQMP systems. • Performing advanced fault tracing and providing technical support to aftermarket organization. • Perform in car customer acceptance testing of new or revised vehicle functions prior to introduction. Qualifications and skills required for the role • Experience of automotive aftermarket and quality issue resolution work. • B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent experience. • Communication skills for issue reporting. • Good awareness of practical implications of GDPR legislation • Root cause analysis and in car fault tracing skills • Experienced user of automotive diagnostic tools • Driver’s license for passenger vehicles needed and a well-developed ability to assess vehicle functions. IT/SW requirements Documented experience of vehicle diagnostic tools.
