What you'll do

The Utility Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects in Sweden & Nordics. This role focuses on customer development, project acquisition, and close collaboration with solution and technical teams to secure and deliver large-scale ground-mounted projects. Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales activities for utility-scale, ground-mounted solar PV and energy storage projects, including ground-mounted PV-only and ground-mounted energy storage projects.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers, EPCs, developers, and utilities, driving project opportunities from early-stage engagement to contract signing.
  • Work closely with the Solution Manager and technical teams to support pre-sales activities, including bid interpretation, technical solution alignment, and project feasibility discussions.
  • Participate in bid preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract signing, ensuring alignment with company strategy and profitability targets.
  • Support awarded projects during pre-contract and execution phases, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and project delivery.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence, including industry trends, competitor solutions, government policies, and customer requirements, and translate insights into effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams on market entry strategies, customer engagement activities, and brand promotion.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and regularly report sales pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback to management.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in utility-scale ground-mounted projects, including ground-mounted PV-only and ground-mounted energy storage projects.
  • Good understanding of inverters, medium-voltage systems, and energy storage systems, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with customers and EPCs.
  • Familiarity with mainstream domestic and international PV and energy storage solution providers.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy sales or business development, with strong utility-scale project exposure.
  • Strong customer-facing, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Energy, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
