University Relations Manager

6-month position, November 2026 – April 2027 · Stockholm · Full-time or part-time (~50%) About Us Universum is an employer branding research and advisory company founded in Stockholm. Each year we survey students and young professionals about their career preferences and the employers they want to work for, and we use these insights to advise employers across 20 markets. About the Role We are setting up a new University Relations team that works directly with universities. The team builds partnerships in which universities distribute our annual student survey to their students and, in return, receive insight reports about their own students. You will be responsible for a group of universities in 2–3 markets, from first contact through to delivery of results. What You Will Do - Contact universities by email, LinkedIn and phone, using AI-supported outreach tools - Reach the right people at each university: career centers, university leadership and dean’s offices, and student unions and student media - Hold introductory and onboarding calls, around 20 per week, and agree partnerships - Support universities during the survey period: one invitation to students, two reminders, and weekly status updates - Present results to partner universities through reports and webinars - Keep records of your contacts and partnerships up to date, and report weekly on activity and results Program Dates & Location We have two start dates September 14 or October 5, and the program will run until December 18, 2026. We offer both full time and part-time, approximately 50% — based at our office in central Stockholm (exceptions can be made for some languages and regions) How You Will Work You will work in a team of 5-10 University Relations Managers, with weekly coaching from a University Relations lead and support from our Data Collection team. Your results are followed up weekly on activity, signed partnerships and survey responses delivered. Position Details - Start date: First week of November 2026 - End date: End of April 2027 - Scope: Full-time or part-time (approximately 50%) - Location: Our office in central Stockholm (exceptions possible for some languages and regions) - Compensation: Fixed monthly salary plus variable pay based on activity, signed partnerships and survey responses delivered Requirements - Fluent English, spoken and written - Organized, and able to manage many contacts and follow-ups at the same time - Comfortable with outreach by phone and email, including hearing “no” - Confident communicating with senior staff at universities - Comfortable using AI tools and other digital tools Nice to Have - Additional languages, especially Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Arabic or Portuguese - Experience from sales, student associations or work in a university setting After the program Depending on performance and business needs, there may be opportunities to continue at Universum, either in University Relations or in other commercial roles.
