Treasury Systems Specialist

We are seeking a treasury professional with a background working with treasury management systems, as well as previous experience from treasury accounting, hedge accounting, financial instruments reporting. The ideal candidate will act as the subject matter expert for treasury accounting and reporting within the newly implemented ION Reval platform, supporting post go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and process optimization. The role requires the ability to connect Treasury, Accounting, Reporting, and IT teams to ensure reliable accounting outcomes, robust controls, and efficient reporting processes. This is a temporary role for 9–12 months, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility to work remotely and on-site at our modern Espoo office. What we can offer you:

Your main responsibilities:

1. Post Go-Live Treasury System Support & Stabilization (ION Reval)

• Act as the primary Treasury Accounting and Reporting subject matter expert for ION Reval.
• Support the stabilization and optimization of treasury accounting, valuations, hedge accounting, and reporting processes following go-live.
• Investigate and resolve accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and data quality issues across ION Reval, SAP, and reporting systems.
• Support interfaces, data flows, and system integrations impacting treasury accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Finance, IT, and external vendors to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support testing and validation of system enhancements, configuration changes, and fixes.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, controls, reporting quality, and process efficiency.

1. Treasury Accounting & Hedge Accounting

• Support monthly treasury closing activities
• Review and validate treasury accounting entries generated by ION Reval and transferred to SAP.
• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting for FX, loans, bonds, derivatives, and intercompany financing transactions.
• Monitor compliance with Group Treasury Policy and IFRS requirements

1. Treasury Controls, Reconciliations & Reporting

• Perform treasury-related reconciliations between ION Reval, SAP, and Group reporting systems.
• Execute month-end treasury controls and reporting validations.
• Review treasury-related P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow impacts for completeness and accuracy.
• Support treasury disclosures for quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests relating to treasury accounting, reporting, and controls.

What we are looking for:

• Experience with Treasury Management Systems, preferably in a post-implementation or support environment.
• Previous experience from Corporate Treasury, Treasury Accounting, Treasury Control, Financial Reporting, or a similar finance function.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting for debt instruments, derivatives, and hedge accounting under IFRS.
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of SAP, HFM, or similar ERP and consolidation platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across Treasury, Finance, Accounting, IT, auditors, and external vendors.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
