What you'll do

Join Nordtours as a Travel Development & Operations Specialist and help us grow through inspiring Norway itineraries, strong partnerships and excellent customer service. Full-time, one-year contract, primarily remote within Norway.

Hva vi ser etter

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys working independently and follows ideas through to results. You combine a passion for travel with commercial awareness and reliable customer service.

  • Relevant experience in travel planning, tour operations, travel sales or a similar field.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Confidence preparing itineraries, calculating prices and coordinating bookings.

  • A proactive approach to finding customers and developing partnerships.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and good knowledge of Norway as a travel destination.

  • Confidence using spreadsheets, booking systems and online tools.

  • Based in Norway and available for occasional travel, meetings and on-site coordination.

  • Willingness to support customer service for our Nordhomes accommodation businesses.

Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, digital marketing experience and existing travel industry contacts are advantages.

Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Develop ready-made and tailor-made Norway itineraries, combining accommodation, transport, meals and activities.

  • Build partnerships with international travel agencies and negotiate rates and terms with transport providers, guides, hotels, restaurants and activity operators.

  • Handle enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up leads to convert them into bookings.

  • Calculate tour prices and margins, coordinate reservations, and organise invoices and payment follow-up.

  • Support guests before, during and after their trips, coordinating suppliers and handling changes.

  • Proactively identify ways to attract customers and recommend improvements to our website, marketing activities and budget allocation.

  • Keep itineraries, booking records and supplier information organised and up to date.

  • Support Nordhomes accommodation customer service by answering guest emails, calls and booking questions, in coordination with property teams.

Vi tilbyr

  • A full-time position on a one-year contract.

  • A primarily remote working arrangement within Norway, with occasional travel and in-person work.

  • A varied role combining travel planning, partnerships, sales and customer service.

  • The opportunity to contribute ideas and influence Nordtours' growth.

  • Opportunities to visit destinations, properties and potential partners.

  • Salary by agreement, based on experience and responsibilities.
