Role Description The Transportleader is a full-time, on-site role based at office in Fredrikstad, Norway. This role oversees daily transport planning, including scheduling vehicles, assigning routes, and ensuring that deliveries and pick-ups are carried out safely and on time. The Transportleader monitors transport performance, resolves operational issues, and communicates with drivers, internal teams, and external partners to keep everyone informed. Tasks include maintaining transport documentation, updating schedules, handling deviations, and supporting compliance with relevant safety and traffic regulations. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of routines, optimizing resource use, and promoting a positive and cooperative work culture. Qualifications

  • Experience in transport coordination, logistics planning, or fleet management, with the ability to organize routes and schedules efficiently.
  • Knowledge of transport safety standards, traffic regulations, and best practices for on-site operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with drivers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proven ability to solve problems under time pressure, manage incidents, and make sound operational decisions.
  • Comfort using digital tools and basic IT systems for planning, tracking administration, and reporting transport activities.
  • High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Relevant vocational training or education in logistics, transport, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Experience working in or with Scandinavian transport environments and proficiency in a Scandinavian language or English is an advantage.
