They're looking for a Trading Engineer to join a highly collaborative team working directly alongside traders, quantitative researchers, software engineers, and infrastructure specialists to support and evolve the systems that power global trading operations. This is not a traditional DevOps or SRE role. You'll be operating at the intersection of technology and trading, solving complex production challenges, improving the reliability of low-latency trading platforms, and helping deliver technology that directly impacts trading performance. What You'll Be Doing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a fast-paced trading environment while identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Improve the stability, scalability, and performance of critical trading infrastructure.
  • Work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate software releases, exchange migrations, and infrastructure changes across trading systems.
  • Automate processes and eliminate downtime using modern open-source technologies.
  • Contribute to a highly sophisticated ecosystem of trading systems, market data infrastructure, networking, and low-latency technology.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, Trading Infrastructure, or MLOps.
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Linux environments.
  • Experience supporting production-critical systems and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to work directly with business stakeholders.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Direct exposure to traders and quantitative researchers
  • Work on business-critical systems where your contributions have an immediate impact
  • Ownership of complex technical challenges across a world-class trading environment
  • Exposure to low-latency systems, real-time data flows, and cutting-edge infrastructure
  • Opportunity to accelerate your career within one of Europe's most respected quantitative trading firms
  • Collaborative, engineering-led culture with a strong focus on learning and development

If you're an engineer who enjoys solving difficult problems, thrives in high-performance environments, and wants to work at the heart of a trading business, I'd be happy to tell you more.
