Testing & Design Engineer, Hyvinkää

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that PCB designs are thoroughly tested and ready for production. You will bridge the gap between design and manufacturing by writing detailed test specifications and validating them through hands-on testing.

Work tasks

The position involves translating PCB designs into functional production test specifications, validating these specifications in a lab environment, and collaborating with design teams to ensure seamless manufacturing readiness.

• Write and compile production test specifications for Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
• Validate test specifications through hands-on bench testing.
• Perform manual verification and soldering as part of the validation process.
• Collaborate closely with PCB designers and test engineers to clarify technical details.
• Determine the key components and circuits that require rigorous testing.

We are looking for

• Good understanding of PCB design principles.
• Practical, hands-on experience with bench testing and production test environments.
• Solid comprehension of power electronics.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks forward without constant supervision.
• Fluent English communication skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Background in Electrical Engineering.
• Possession of relevant electrical safety certifications.
• Knowledge of EMC testing or embedded systems.
• Practical experience with soldering.
