What you'll do

At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, we make playful, surprising products for everyday life. As we transform how we serve customers and run our business, you will make sure every change lands safely. You will own how we test, set the bar for quality, and build confidence before every launch. As our Test Manager, you will own and drive the testing strategy across key technology and transformation initiatives. You will act as the central point of coordination for testing activities, working closely with product teams, engineers, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to build confidence in every release. This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen quality assurance practices in a growing international retail business where technology plays an increasingly important role in delivering great customer experiences. About the role From customer loyalty programmes and self-checkout solutions to ERP implementations and business-critical applications, you will make sure every change is thoroughly tested before reaching our customers, stores, and colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and establishing testing methodologies, processes, and best practices to ensure a consistent and scalable approach to quality assurance.
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing testing activities across multiple projects, releases, and business-critical initiatives.
  • Leading and overseeing System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Defining test entry and exit criteria, quality gates, defect management processes, and release readiness assessments.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to increase automated test coverage and support the integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identifying, managing, and communicating quality risks, defects, and testing progress to stakeholders and programme leadership.
  • Coordinating testing efforts across internal teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Challenging suppliers and stakeholders to ensure agreed quality standards and testing deliverables are met.

About you You are a structured and proactive Test Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing people, processes, and technology together to deliver high-quality solutions. We imagine that you:

  • Have experience working as a Test Manager, QA Manager, or in a similar role within complex technology environments.
  • Understand both traditional and agile delivery models and know how to adapt testing approaches accordingly.
  • Are comfortable balancing quality requirements, business priorities, and delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and can engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Take a structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

It would be an advantage if you have:

  • Have experience with test automation and are familiar with tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, BrowserStack or similar technologies.
  • Experience from retail, omnichannel, eCommerce, POS, loyalty, or store technology environments.
  • Have experience with test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, qTest, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting large-scale business transformation programmes or ERP implementations.
  • An ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification or an equivalent professional qualification.

And much more… If this resonates with you, we cannot wait to hear from you! Did you know… We take climate change very seriously and work very hard to minimize our carbon footprint. We do this by buying less plastic and more renewable materials (everything which grows) – and we also want to make sure that all stores are run on renewable energy. We walk the talk – and make sure that what we do is validated by external experts, in the Science Based Targets initiative.
