Test Manager Consultant

Role Description The Test Manager Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Gothenburg Metropolitan Area. In this position, the consultant will lead testing activities across projects, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring test execution to ensure high-quality deliveries. Daily responsibilities include defining test strategies, designing and reviewing test cases, overseeing test teams, and managing risks and issues related to testing. Qualifications You bring hands-on experience from one or several of the following areas:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and/or test management
• Test management and coordination in software development projects
• Developing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Functional, integration, system, and regression testing
• Defect management, root cause analysis, and quality reporting
• Automotive software testing and validation processes
• Working in Agile development environments
• Test automation frameworks and tools
• Requirements analysis and test coverage management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance practices
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, FMEA or similar is a plus
• ISTQB certification is a plus
