Test Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Test Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team and support engine testing and development activities within a state-of-the-art test facility. In this role, you will work with engine test cells, test equipment, and combustion engines, supporting everything from test preparation and engine installation to testing, measurements, and daily maintenance activities. You will play an important role in ensuring high-quality test execution while contributing to the continuous improvement of testing methods and work processes. Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of engine test cells and associated test equipment.
• Perform engine installations, test preparations, and measurement activities.
• Execute engine testing activities according to defined procedures and requirements.
• Monitor test equipment and ensure reliable test operation and data collection.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to engines and test equipment.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of testing methods, processes, and work environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to support product development activities.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized test environment.

Background / Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience within testing, laboratory environments, automotive engineering, mechanical systems, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience working with combustion engines, test equipment, laboratory environments, or similar technical systems.
• Practical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Interest in engine technology and product development.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and test methods.
• Experience from automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical environments is considered beneficial.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious

• Experience with engine testing or engine development activities.
• Experience as a mechanic, machine operator, laboratory technician, or similar technical role.
• Knowledge of measurement systems and test equipment.
• Experience supporting product development and engineering activities.
• Experience working in automotive testing environments.
