Test Engineer in Electronics and Power Electronics

Job description Do you want to work hands-on with testing and verification of advanced electrical products for industrial applications? We are looking for a test engineer for an exciting development assignment at a technology company in Helsingborg. You will work closely with product development with testing and verification of electrical and electronic products used in demanding industrial environments. The role is suitable for those who like to combine practical laboratory work, measurement technology, troubleshooting and analysis. About the role As a Test Engineer, you will plan, conduct and document tests to ensure that products meet technical requirements and operate under various electrical, mechanical and environmental conditions. Your tasks may include:

• EMC Testing and Troubleshooting
• Vibration and mechanical tests
• Temperature cycling and climate and environmental tests
• Electrical Tests and Verification
• Development and implementation of test plans and test cases
• Construction of test setups and implementation of measurements
• Analysis of test results and identification of deviations
• Troubleshooting together with development engineers
• Documentation and reporting of test results
• Coordination and follow-up of tests carried out at external test laboratories

This is a hands-on role where you are expected to be able to work independently with test equipment and test setups, but at the same time have a close collaboration with the development team. Basic qualifications We are looking for someone who has:

• Engineering education in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
• Experience in testing, verifying or validating electrical or electronic equipment
• Good understanding of electrical systems and electrical safety
• Practical experience with electrical measuring equipment and test setups
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems
• Ability to analyze and document test results in a structured manner
• Understanding of electrical products from traditional voltage levels up to higher voltages for industrial applications
