Test Automation Engineer

For our client in the banking industry were looking for a QA Engineer. Detailed description of work task to be carried out: · Acting as a key member in one of our agile teams · Manual and automated testing of our Backend and frontend applications using latest tools and technology · Help the team in delivering high-quality solutions · Manage, evaluate and continuously improve the quality of our applications · Testcase management, execution and providing test results · Design, execute, and maintain API test automation to validate APIs, service responses, integration points, and backend quality. · Perform functional, regression, integration, API, mobile, and accessibility testing across relevant platforms. · Explore edge cases and ask thoughtful "what if" questions to go beyond basic checklist-based testing. · Test on both iOS and Android devices, understanding platform-specific limitations and behaviours. · Take the customer needs and together with business drive the best solution, where your input is very important Must-have knowledge and experience: * Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright. * Experience with mobile test automation tools. * Experience with API testing and API test automation, including validation of APIs, service responses, and integration points. * Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java for test automation. Nice-to-have knowledge and experience: * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. * Familiarity with performance, security, or exploratory testing. * Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.
