Telecommunications Engineer

Telecoms Engineer Bergen, Norway Long-term contract – 12 month renewable EPC Client About the Client Applica are hiring for a leading EPC client for a major maintenance and modification programme of work relating to several onshore facilities across Norway About the Role As the Telecoms Engineer, you will support the VEM 2026 Onshore Project, based in Bergen, Norway. The role will involve telecoms engineering activities across global and detailed design phases, work package development, follow-on engineering and as-built documentation. You will also deputise for the Telecom Discipline Lead when required. About You

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications deliverables for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, including Equinor technical requirements and NORSOK standards.
• Experience in network design, including fibre optics and network cabling.
• PAGA system and telecom installation experience.
• Familiarity with ProCoSys and STID is advantageous.
• Valid Ex Basic, Exi Basic and FSE training.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
• An engineering qualification at associate degree, vocational school, BSc or MSc level.
