Technology Product Owner (2 year contract)

Join Specsavers as our new Technology Product Owner for B2B IT on a two-year contract and play a key role in shaping the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our new B2B CRM system across Northern Europe. Your role As our Technology Product Owner, you will be responsible for our new B2B CRM system (SuperOffice) and rolling it out across the NE region. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, working closely with agile development teams, Product Managers, business stakeholders, and external partners. Acting as the voice of the product, you will balance strategic priorities, stakeholder needs, and user insights to continuously drive meaningful improvements and successful product outcomes. You are a strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in complex environments, brings people together around a shared vision, and inspires confidence in your product decisions. Key Responsibilities Include

• Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and release planning for SuperOffice.
• Maximise business value by prioritising work and guiding product decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with agile teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive successful product delivery.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment through clear and transparent communication.
• Drive product discovery, gather feedback, and use insights to continuously improve the product.
• Balance business needs, user needs, and technical considerations to achieve the best outcomes.
• Manage the product throughout its lifecycle, from idea and development to retirement.

Your new team You'll join the Northern Europe Technology function and work closely with Product Managers, agile development teams, architects, business stakeholders, and external development partners. As part of a collaborative and international environment, you will help ensure that our technology products support business goals, customer needs, and market requirements across Northern Europe. Together, we focus on delivering solutions that create lasting value for our colleagues, customers, and business. What are we looking for? We are preferably looking for a candidate with the following competencies:

• Experience with B2B CRM systems
• Experience implementing and driving complex technical projects
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of agile product development methodologies and ways of working.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management across multiple business functions.
• Experience working with complex products, systems, or organisational environments.
• Strong product ownership mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and make decisions in dynamic environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

It Would Be An Advantage If You Have

• Experience with SuperOffice
• Experience in Product Management or Product Ownership, ideally supported by a Product Owner certification such as PSPO or CSPO.
• A proven ability to facilitate workshops, coach and influence stakeholders, and work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Commercial understanding of technology products and digital delivery, with experience from the optometry, audiology, retail, healthcare, or similar customer-focused industries.
