Do you know how to transform complex technical information into documentation that customers can understand and use? And would you like to work closely with engineers and technical specialists on some of the most advanced radar systems in the world? Then you might be our new Technical Writer. At Weibel we develop and manufacture advanced radar systems used by customers worldwide. As part of our ILS / Technical Publications team, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our customers receive accurate, consistent and user-friendly documentation throughout the lifetime of our systems. Develop technical documentation for advanced radar systems Your main responsibility will be to develop high-quality, customer-oriented technical documentation, including operator, maintenance and system manuals. You will take ownership of documentation assignments and work closely with subject matter experts, engineers and other technical writers to understand the systems and translate complex information into clear and structured content. Your key responsibilities will include:
About you You have solid experience with technical writing in an engineering or similar technical environment. Experience from the defence industry or another highly regulated industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. You are curious about how complex systems work and comfortable asking questions until you have the information you need. At the same time, you understand documentation from the user’s perspective and know how to make technical content precise, accessible and practical. We expect you to have:
Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement. Your new team You will join our ILS / Technical Publications team, consisting of 10 dedicated colleagues who support our Sales Divisions and customers with technical publications, field service engineering, customer care and integrated logistics support. We have an informal working environment where specialist knowledge is valued, and where we work closely together across technical disciplines. You will have direct access to the people who develop, build and service our radar systems, giving you the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of both the technology and what our customers need.
