Technical Trainer / Automotive Project Manager

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Technical Trainer / Project Manager to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role In this role you will be responsible for driving the overall project plan, coordinating key planning activities, and driving the development of detailed pre-studies for each Competence Development initiative. This includes defining scope, delivery requirements, resource needs, timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure initiatives are sufficiently matured before execution. Bringing in temporary expertise will strengthen planning capacity during a critical preparation phase, mitigate delivery risks, and ensure the organization is well-positioned to manage the expected increase in training development and deployment activities in 2027 without impacting ongoing operational commitments. Responsibilities

• Robust planning and governance for the 2027 training peak.
• Well-define pre-studies and project plans for Competence Development initiatives.
• Improve stakeholder alignment and decision-making.
• Reduce delivery risk and increased readiness for execution in 2027.
• Protection of ongoing operational deliveries while securing future capacity and readiness.

Requirements / Background

• Project management experience in leading cross-functional initiatives, driving planning activities, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring progress against agreed milestones.
• Pre-study and scoping capability, including definition of project scope, resource requirements, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and delivery roadmaps.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, align diverse stakeholders, document decisions, and ensure clear communication across functions and markets.
• Technical training expertise with the ability to understand complex products, systems, and service processes, and translate technical information into competence development requirements.
• Engineering knowledge and technical comprehension, including the ability to interpret technical documentation, product specifications, CAD illustrations, drawings, schematics, and service information.
• Stakeholder management and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with technical experts, product owners, markets, and competence development teams.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, capable of balancing strategic objectives with operational realities and driving practical outcomes in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage complexity, including handling multiple concurrent initiatives, navigating dependencies, prioritizing activities, and operating effectively in an environment with many stakeholders and changing requirements.
• Analytical and structured working approach, ensuring planning activities are data-driven, well-documented, and aligned with business priorities.
• Experience within competence development, technical training, or learning organizations is highly desirable, particularly in environments characterized by large-scale product launches and global deployment activities.
