What you'll do

About CLIMIFY CLIMIFY is a Danish deep-tech company developing digital solutions for existing buildings. Our platform combines sensors, meters, building systems and user feedback to support indoor climate and space management, building automation and IoT, and energy management. We work with municipalities, public building owners, facility managers, consultants and other organisations managing buildings and building portfolios. The role We are looking for a Technical Sales & Customer Success Associate – Buildings & Energy for approximately 10–20 hours per week. The role is particularly suited to someone who has completed a technical bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at DTU within areas such as building engineering, sustainable energy, architectural engineering, indoor climate, building services or a related field. This is a customer-facing commercial role, but not a traditional sales position. You will support our commercial activities throughout the customer journey: researching potential customers, reaching out to them, understanding their needs, helping identify the right technical solution and supporting customers in using CLIMIFY effectively. Previous sales experience is not required. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of buildings and energy who enjoys working with people and wants to develop a technical-commercial profile. What you’ll work on

  • Conduct proactive outreach to potential customers through phone calls, professional networking and events, and follow up through appropriate communication channels
  • Support the identification and research of relevant customer segments, organisations and decision-makers
  • Understand customer challenges related to energy use, indoor climate and building operations, and help identify the relevant CLIMIFY solutions
  • Follow up on leads and support demonstrations, proposals and commercial opportunities
  • Help existing customers get value from CLIMIFY by guiding them in using the platform
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate relevant needs to our commercial and technical teams
  • Keep leads, customer interactions and next steps structured and up to date

You will work closely with our commercial team, developers and IoT, Automation and Operations Engineers. What we expect

  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree in building engineering, architectural engineering, sustainable energy engineering, building services engineering or a related technical field, and are currently pursuing a master’s degree at DTU or a similar technical university
  • You have a good fundamental understanding of energy use in buildings, indoor climate and building systems
  • Danish is your native language, and you communicate confidently in English
  • You are comfortable speaking with customers and contacting people you do not know
  • You can understand a technical problem and communicate possible solutions clearly
  • You are curious, structured and comfortable taking responsibility for your own tasks
  • You are interested in combining engineering with customer-facing and commercial work

Nice to have It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have knowledge of one or more of the following:

  • Danish building regulations, such as BR18 / BR25
  • Energy efficiency and energy performance in buildings
  • Energy savings calculations, baselines or measurement and verification methodologies
  • Energy management systems, for example concepts related to ISO 50001
  • Building automation, BMS, IoT or building data
  • Indoor climate assessment and monitoring

What you will get

  • A flexible student position of approximately 10–20 hours per week
  • Hands-on experience across the customer journey, from outreach to customer success
  • Practical exposure to building energy, indoor climate, IoT, automation and energy management
  • Close collaboration with both our commercial and technical teams
  • Direct interaction with municipalities, building owners, facility managers and consultants
  • The opportunity to develop a strong profile at the intersection of engineering, digitalisation and business
  • Increasing responsibility as your technical and commercial understanding develops

Interested? Send your CV and a short motivation letter to jobs@climify.com, including your availability and expected start date. We would particularly like to hear:

  • Why you are interested in combining building or energy engineering with customer-facing work
  • What experience or studies have given you an understanding of buildings, energy or indoor climate
  • Why you would be comfortable reaching out directly to potential customers
