Job Scope Responsible for driving the successful development, validation, and industrial deployment of new battery products from concept through mass production. The role acts as the central coordinator between R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to performance targets. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional projects related to the development and industrialization of new battery products, processes, and manufacturing technologies. Ensure seamless transition from product design and prototyping to pilot production and full-scale manufacturing. Establish and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and risk registers. Manage project team resource capacity, timeline and prioritization in the matrix organization with line-managers. Develop and maintain project financial budgets both operational and CapEx. Drive project governance through regular status reviews and stakeholder reporting. Facilitate (technical) issue resolution and decision-making across disciplines. Coordinate production equipment readiness, process qualification, and factory acceptance activities. Manage industrialization deliverables including capacity planning, PFMEA, control plans, and process validation. Requirements Educational background and previous experience required for the role Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field). 5+ Years of experience of working as a technical project manager within automotive/industrial/advanced manufacturing industry. Experience of working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects, etc.) Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional development projects, including capital expenditure management. Qualifications And Experience Advanced technical knowledge in an industrial relevant manufacturing field. Certification in a project management framework (i.e. PMI-PMP) is beneficial. Knowledge about (European) safety regulations like CE compliance (Machine directive, ATEX, low-voltage, pressure directives, RoHs). Lean SixSigma or DFSS Greenbelt certification is a plus. Specific skills & Knowledge Experienced user of project management software (ERP, PLM, Jira, MS Projects, etc). Experience with industrial equipment, automation systems, and production ramp-up activities. Fluent in English both written and verbal. (Additional language, i.e. Swedish or German, is a plus) Personal Success Factors Highly organized and result driven. Good analytical skills and the ability to apply logical thinking to resolve faults and issues with appropriate corrections and measures. A structured approach to problem solving.
