Role Description The Technical Project Manager Intern (Unpaid) will support the planning, coordination, and execution of game development projects in a dynamic, startup environment. This full-time remote role involves tracking project timelines, organizing tasks and milestones, and helping ensure alignment between technical and creative teams. The intern will assist in managing workflows, documenting requirements, coordinating meetings, and following up on action items to keep projects on schedule. Day-to-day activities include analyzing project risks, updating project documentation, communicating status to stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement of processes and tools. Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret project data, identify risks, and support decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities to convey information clearly, document requirements, and collaborate across technical and creative teams.
  • Candidates should possess Program Management and Project Management skills to assist with planning, prioritization, scheduling, and tracking progress.
  • Candidates should possess Team Leadership capabilities to facilitate collaboration, encourage accountability, and support team coordination.
  • Familiarity with agile or iterative development methodologies and basic project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) is beneficial.
  • Interest in gaming, interactive storytelling, or AI-driven technologies is highly desirable.
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Game Design, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a startup environment.
