Technical Project Manager Job description Join Amaris Consulting as a Technical Project Manager within our Engineering scope, supporting complex industrial electrical building projects. In this role, you will coordinate technical activities across design, construction support, and handover phases, ensuring alignment with project requirements, safety regulations, quality expectations, planning, budget, and applicable standards. Your Missions

  • Coordinate the technical planning, design follow-up, construction support, and handover of electrical buildings within industrial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, schedules, and budget expectations.
  • Act as the main technical interface between Electrical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, HVAC, Fire Protection, Telecom, Security, PMC, Engineering Contractors, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
  • Follow up on the design and integration of HV, MV, and LV substations, electrical buildings, E-houses, and industrial power distribution systems.
  • Manage multidisciplinary engineering interfaces to secure technical consistency across project deliverables.
  • Support construction and commissioning activities by coordinating technical clarifications, issue resolution, and handover requirements.
  • Monitor technical risks, identify potential deviations, and contribute to mitigation plans.
  • Ensure alignment with applicable Swedish and European standards, regulations, and industrial engineering practices.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial electrical/mechnical engineering projects, ideally within large industrial, infrastructure, power, energy, mining, or steel environments.
  • Experience with HV, MV, and LV substations, electrical buildings, E-houses, industrial power distribution systems, EPC or EPCM project execution models, multidisciplinary engineering coordination, and construction or commissioning support.
  • Knowledge of power distribution systems, transformers, MV and LV switchgear, earthing and lightning protection systems, electrical room layouts, equipment installation requirements, cable routing, cable entry systems, building grounding and bonding systems, HVAC systems for electrical rooms, fire detection, fire protection systems, industrial telecom, security systems, and building services supporting electrical installations.
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
  • English fluent. Swedish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Swedish engineering practices, authority requirements, permitting processes, and European standards related to industrial electrical installations and electrical buildings is a plus.
  • Commissioning and energization experience for industrial electrical systems is a plus.
  • Strong coordination skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary interfaces in large EPC or EPCM projects.
  • Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate technical risks in complex project environments.
