Technical Assistant – Mechanical

WE ARE HIRING - Technical Assistant – Mechanical Are you detail-oriented, technically minded and experienced in mechanical equipment, technical documentation or master data management? Cetec Energy is looking for a Technical Assistant – Mechanical to support the quality and accuracy of technical Material Master data within an ERP system, helping improve procurement, maintenance and operational efficiency. If you enjoy working with technical information, improving data quality and coordinating with different stakeholders, this could be the right opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate Material Master descriptions within the mechanical discipline.
• Verify VDM and other relevant technical information.
• Analyse and validate technical specifications, equipment data and documentation.
• Correct and improve master data quality, consistency and accuracy.
• Ensure correct classification, descriptions and technical attributes.
• Coordinate required corrections with relevant stakeholders.
• Obtain and track approvals for master data changes with technical teams.
• Submit approved updates for implementation in the ERP system.
• Follow up on changes to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain documentation and traceability of all updates.

Your Profile

• Technical Assistant qualification or a similar technical educational background.
• Experience within technical services, maintenance, procurement or master data management.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, spare parts and technical documentation.
• Understanding of Material Master data structures.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and vendor documentation.
• Familiarity with VDM and technical classification systems.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, or other maintenance systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, systematic approach.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and ensure tasks are followed through to completion.
• High attention to detail and data quality.
