Role snapshot
Do you want to be at the forefront of protecting our society against cyber threats? We are looking for a Team Manager to team up with the most dedicated team of cyber specialists in our Secure Infrastructure domain. About Truesec – A Leading Cybersecurity Company Since 2005, Truesec has been a native cybersecurity company, driven by one single purpose: Creating safety and sustainability in a digital world by preventing cyber breach and minimizing impact. Over the years, we’ve earned the trust of organizations worldwide and gained a strong reputation internationally. Our team consists of dedicated specialists covering the entire spectrum of cybersecurity – with capabilities in Predict, Prevent, Protect, Respond, and Recover. Today, we employ around 400 employees – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Team Manager who wants to make a difference in our Secure Infrastructure domain. Secure Infrastructure Looking at the actual threat landscape today, it’s more important than ever to design and build infrastructure solutions that incorporate correct and relevant security measures. The team works closely together using their combined knowledge and experience gathered from different projects and Incident Response cases to help our customers stay ahead of the threat actors. We continuously help customers improve their security posture within cloud, data center, endpoint management, identity, M365, and networking. The Role Strong cyber defense needs more than great technology. It needs experts who can do their best work and a leader who makes that possible. As Team Manager within Secure Infrastructure, you will lead a team of senior experts across hypervisor platforms, on-premises infrastructure, networking, cloud, and Microsoft 365. They bring deep technical expertise. You bring the direction, coaching, and support that help them succeed together. This is a people leadership role, not a hands-on consulting position. You will build trust with people who know their craft, coach each team member, and create opportunities for development and knowledge sharing. By listening closely, acting on feedback, and removing obstacles, you will help maintain strong engagement and enable the team to be high-performing. Your role is to support senior experts while respecting their autonomy. You will also be the link between sales and consultants, bringing the right people into customer conversations, strengthening handovers, and improving the processes that connect customer needs with delivery. As a member of the Secure Infrastructure leadership team, you will work alongside the Head of Secure Infrastructure and Tech Leads to shape the area’s development and turn shared priorities into progress with your team. You will report to the Head of Secure Infrastructure, who holds overall profit-and-loss (P&L) responsibility for the entire Secure Infrastructure team. Your Background You are an experienced people leader with a good understanding of cybersecurity and consultancy business. You enjoy helping skilled specialists thrive and know how to provide direction and support without needing to have all the answers yourself. You build trust through useful questions, honest conversations, and consistent follow-through. You are comfortable connecting technical and commercial perspectives and helping people work towards shared goals. You do not need to be the deepest technical expert in the room. What matters is your ability to understand the context, recognize your team’s expertise, and create and enable the team’s conditions for people to succeed together. Required Skills - Experience in people leadership, including coaching, employee development, and building team engagement. - A good understanding of cybersecurity and the ability to engage confidently with technical specialists. - Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust, provide constructive feedback, and navigate challenging conversations. - Ability to connect technical and commercial perspectives and support collaboration between sales and delivery of consultancy services. - Ability to translate shared priorities into clear direction and follow through on improvements. - Fluency in English, both writing and speaking. Bonus Skills - Experience leading senior technical specialists in a consulting or professional services environment. - Familiarity with infrastructure domains such as hypervisor platforms, on-premises infrastructure, networking, cloud, or Microsoft 365. - Experience improving collaboration, handovers, and processes between sales and consulting teams. - Experience using employee feedback and engagement measures, such as eNPS, to guide team improvements. Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Swedish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Swedish work permit. Join Our Mission Toward a Safe Digital Future If you truly want to make a difference and make our world a little bit safer, this is the place for you. At Truesec, you’ll get to be at the forefront of fighting cybercrime instead of reading about it in the news. This is your chance to be part of an exciting journey in a leading cybersecurity company and learn from some of the best in their field. So, are you ready to team up with the most dedicated team of experts and be part of a meaningful mission? Then we are excited to get to know you!
