Sustainability Reporting & Product Development Intern Full-time | Unpaid | Start as soon as possible | Minimum 4 months, preferably 6 months | Stockholm / Remote / Hybrid About Format Green Format Green is a Stockholm-based sustainability-tech company developing a digital platform for sustainability reporting, supplier follow-up and ESG data collection. Our platform helps small and medium-sized companies collect sustainability data, create policies and targets, and produce structured reporting based on the VSME standard. Our goal is to make sustainability reporting practical, useful and less dependent on expensive consulting processes. We are now looking for an intern to support the continued development and testing of the platform. About the internship This is a full-time, unpaid internship for someone who understands sustainability reporting and wants to help build a digital product around it. This is not a software developer position, and coding experience is not required. Your main task will be to translate sustainability reporting requirements into clear questions, platform logic, workflows, guidance texts and reporting outputs. You will work directly with our sustainability specialists, product developer and software developer. Our development process uses AI-assisted workflows, rapid prototyping and continuous testing. A significant part of the internship will involve testing complete user flows, identifying unclear logic, documenting problems and verifying that improvements work correctly. What you will work with

• Translating VSME and ESG reporting requirements into practical platform logic
• Structuring questions, answer options, calculations, guidance texts and reporting outputs
• Reviewing and improving user flows from an SME perspective
• Testing new platform features and complete reporting processes
• Identifying bugs, gaps, inconsistencies and unclear instructions
• Documenting test results and retesting implemented improvements
• Supporting rapid prototyping and AI-assisted product development
• Working with the development team to turn sustainability methodology into a scalable digital product

Who we are looking for You should have a background or strong interest in sustainability reporting and digital product development. You must have:

• Good understanding of sustainability reporting
• Strong written English
• A structured and independent way of working
• Ability to turn complex requirements into clear and practical content
• Interest in digital tools, automation, AI and product development
• Ability to work in a small team where the product is developing quickly

Relevant knowledge or experience includes:

• VSME, CSRD, ESRS or GRI
• Climate risk (GIS)
• ESG data collection and reporting processes
• Climate reporting and Scope 1, Scope 2 or Scope 3 calculations
• Sustainability policies, targets and governance
• Product development, UX, app development or digital tools
• Software or platform testing

Swedish is useful but not required. What you will get

• Language: English required; Swedish is a plus
