What you'll do

Internal Opportunity: Supply Chain Planner – Temporary 8-Month Assignment As of December 26/January 27 we are offering an internal opportunity to join the Trading and Corporate Planning Department as Supply Chain Planner for approximately eight months. This is a temporary backfill while the permanent role holder takes on another assignment within the company. The role offers the opportunity to work at the centre of Nynas' global planning activities, supporting decisions across crude selection, refinery processing, supply sourcing and logistics. We are looking for someone who can step into the role quickly, work closely with stakeholders across the business and maintain continuity throughout the temporary assignment. Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and communicate the Nynas Group's monthly Oil Flow Plan (OFP)
  • Manage the daily operations of Nynas third-party inventory financing agreement
  • Carry out projects and case studies to assess the economic value of different business scenarios.
  • Present performance follow-ups and optimisation opportunities in management review meetings.
  • Use and further develop the GRTMPS optimisation tool and other valuation models.

Experience and qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold an MSc in logistics, economics, engineering or chemical engineering and be fluent in English. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and quantitative skills who is comfortable working with data, planning assumptions and complex business scenarios. Relevant experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, economics, engineering or refinery operations is an advantage. Experience with optimisation or database tools is also valuable. You should be able to communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organisation. Personal qualities: You are structured, curious and comfortable taking responsibility. You have a strong attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy in planning and reporting. You can work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across functions. You enjoy solving problems and can prioritise when several activities are running in parallel. What the assignment offers: This is a unique opportunity to work across Nynas’ end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing and refinery operations to sales, while also working with our external inventory financing partner. The assignment will allow you to broaden your experience, gain insight into Nynas’ global planning and optimisation activities, and work closely with colleagues across the business. A handover will be arranged to support a smooth transition into the role. Interested? For more information about the assignment, please contact Anna Collin.
