The company’s share is quoted on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. www.marimekko.com We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supplier & Materials Specialist to join our Printing Mill team in Herttoniemi, Helsinki. As our Supplier & Materials Specialist, you will own and develop the Printing Mill supplier contract portfolio, including contract negotiations, and contract management practices. You will manage the Printing Mill chemical portfolio and ensure compliance with chemical safety and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will support maintenance procurement activities and participate in R&D and product development projects by providing expertise related to chemicals, suppliers, and materials. You will also oversee inventory management of chemicals and other production materials, ensuring stock accuracy and material availability. Furthermore, you will support production planning activities through work order administration, system data maintenance, and reporting. This is a full-time and permanent position, in which you will report to our Production Manager. What are your key responsibilities in this role?

• Own and develop the Printing Mill supplier contract portfolio.
• Manage supplier relationships and support strategic sourcing activities.
• Own the Printing Mill chemical portfolio and compliance processes.
• Ensure availability and inventory accuracy of chemicals and production materials.
• Manage work order administration, master data, and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier, material, and operational processes.

What will help you succeed in this role?

• Relevant educational background (Bachelor’s or master’s degree) in Supply Chain

Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• A few years of experience in supplier management, procurement, chemical management, contract management, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with suppliers and internal teams.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish.
