What you'll do

Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, invites applications for a as student helper in Sensor Data Analysis and Edge AI. The position is available from 1 November 2026, or soon hereafter, and until June 30, 2027. The weekly number of hours is 10. The student helpers will support research activities related to sensor data analysis and Edge AI. Tasks may include:

  • Presentations and communication activities
  • Documentation and other related technical tasks
  • Processing and analysing sensor data
  • Developing and testing data-processing and AI algorithms
  • Implementing and testing algorithms on edge computing platforms

Your competencies

  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Basic knowledge of signal and data processing
  • Interest in AI, machine learning, and edge computing
