Role snapshot
Who are we? We're three founders running two e-commerce brands under BW Capital, where we've built brands for eight years. We own Hills Golf, which sells mainly in the US, and the newly launched Samuel Church. We run both from our 300 m² office in central Copenhagen, where the fridge is stocked and there are fresh beans in the coffee machine ☕ We have 7 full-time employees and an international team across the USA, Europe and China. What is this? We hire student assistants on a continuous basis across the entire business, and we're growing fast enough that we'd rather know the right people before we need them. So rather than posting one role at a time, we run a talent pool. When a role opens, we hire from the pool first. The pool opens twice a year. This round closes 1 December. If you're a strong fit, you'll hear from us - sometimes within a week, sometimes a few months later when the right role appears. Either way, you're in the room. What do we offer? • DKK 200-225 an hour, depending on your background • Flexibility, with room for your studies and whatever else life throws at you • Real responsibility and influence from day one • Proper training from people who've been doing this at scale for eight years, so you're not thrown in at the deep end • A seat in a company where you can see the whole machine, not just one corner of it What will you be doing? That depends on you. We hire across everything it takes to actually run a company, and we shape roles around strengths rather than forcing people into boxes. • Marketing & Growth - we spend around DKK 2 million a month on marketing. Market research, ad campaigns, creators and creator agencies, launches on Meta. • Design & Branding - visual identity, campaign and product assets, packaging. The details that make a brand feel expensive. • Research & Analysis - customers, competitors, categories. Working out what's actually driving growth and what just looks like it is. • Tech & Backend - web, Shopify, integrations, internal tools, automation. • Operations & Logistics - inventory, suppliers, shipping. The unglamorous machinery that decides whether a good brand actually works. If you like AI and automation, that's a plus in every one of these. There's no approval layer here: if your idea is good, we run it, and you'll see the results within a week. We also run official internships (praktikpladser) in partnership with the Danish universities and business academies - mention it in your application if you need one as part of your degree. Who are we looking for? Someone who takes ownership and sees things through, and who enjoys getting properly deep into it - whether that's why one creative outperforms another, why a supplier keeps slipping, or why a number doesn't add up. Bachelor's or master's, and what you're studying, matter less than your drive. You don't need e-commerce experience, though it's certainly a bonus. We'd rather find the right person and teach them the playbook from A to Z. The practical stuff Typically 20-30 hours a week, adjusted around exams, on-site in Copenhagen. Start dates are rolling - some people start next week, some next semester. We hire with the intention of keeping you on after you graduate. How to apply Send a short, informal application and your CV to info@samuel-church.com. Tell us which area pulls at you most (marketing, design, research, tech, operations) - and if you're not sure, say that instead. It's a fair answer. Questions? Contact Rasmus, who's handling the hiring. We interview on a rolling basis and hire as soon as we meet the right people. The pool closes 1 December and doesn't reopen until next year.
