About The Role The Student Worker supports the Process Design and Engineering team with engineering activities, digitalization initiatives, and development of internal engineering tools. The role provides an opportunity to apply engineering knowledge while gaining experience with process calculations, automation, data analytics, and emerging digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Student Worker will assist with tools such as PROCALC and support the development of digital solutions that improve engineering efficiency, knowledge management, and project execution. Your Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, testing, and documentation of PROCALC, FULLER's process calculation and engineering tool.
• Assist with engineering calculations, data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of process design tools and applications.
• Support the digitalization and automation of Process Design workflows by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Assist with the investigation and evaluation of AI, automation, and data-driven solutions for engineering and project activities.
• Support the development and testing of AI-assisted solutions for engineering calculations, process design, document management, and knowledge management.
• Assist with the development and improvement of digital tools such as the AI-based Tender Reader, including extracting, analyzing, and summarizing customer requirements and technical documentation.
• Document processes, tools, testing results, and improvements to support knowledge sharing and continued development.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand business needs and translate them into practical digital solutions.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

You bring

• Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, data analysis, or software development.
• Experience with Python, VBA, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools is preferred.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or data analytics is preferred.
• Interest in software development, automation, and digital engineering tools is preferred.
