What you'll do

Student Assistant – M&A Data & Investor Communications LNP Corporate Finance is looking for a data-driven and analytically strong Student Assistant to join our international team at our headquarters in Copenhagen. You will work closely with our Investor Communications Manager and play an important role in supporting our M&A activities through data analysis, investor research, CRM management and market intelligence. A key part of the role will be working with and structuring large amounts of company and investor data to support our sell-side and buy-side processes. The position offers hands-on exposure to international M&A and the opportunity to develop strong analytical and commercial skills while working closely with our Managers and Partners on transactions within the technology sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investor and company research to identify and assess potential buyers and acquisition targets.
  • Maintain, update, and continuously improve the quality and structure of our HubSpot CRM database.
  • Work with, structure and analyse investors, companies, and transaction data.
  • Track and analyse Nordic M&A activity and contribute to our quarterly M&A reports.
  • Assist in developing white papers and market reports based on data-driven insights.
  • Support the preparation and execution of sell-side and buy-side investor outreach campaigns.
  • Prepare ongoing reporting and analysis of investor activities and campaign performance.
  • Support our Managers and Partners with research, analysis, and other transaction-related assignments.

Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong analytical mindset and enjoys working with data.
  • Is highly structured, detail-oriented and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Has strong Excel skills and is generally proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Has an interest in using data and technology to improve processes and generate insights.
  • Has a good commercial understanding and an interest in M&A, technology, and financial markets.
  • Has strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Has a strong academic track record.
  • Communicates fluently in English and at least one Nordic language.

Is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science or another relevant field, ideally with 1-2 years remaining. Previous experience within M&A is not required. We are primarily looking for someone who is analytical, curious and eager to learn – and who genuinely enjoys working with data. The expected workload is approximately 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility around exam periods. Application Please send a short motivational letter, your CV, and academic transcript in PDF format to vw@lnpgroup.com. If you have any questions about the position, feel free to reach out to Investor Communications Manager Venke Weil via the same email.
