Job Title: Student Assistant – ESG & Sustainability Location: Vetaphone A/S, Fabriksvej 11, 6000 Kolding Department: Sustainability / ESG Reports to: CPO, Gustav Hansen Working hours: Flexible part-time position with hours agreed individually About Vetaphone Vetaphone is a Danish company based in Kolding. We develop and produce surface treatment solutions for plastic film materials and work with customers across the world. As part of our continued development, we want to strengthen our ESG efforts and work more structured with sustainability documentation, improvement activities, and external assessments such as EcoVadis. Role Overview We are looking for a curious and motivated student who would like to gain hands-on experience with ESG and sustainability in a real business setting. In this role, you will help Vetaphone work more structured with ESG and support our efforts to improve our EcoVadis score. You will work with data, documentation, and practical improvement activities, while gaining insight into how a company turns sustainability ambitions into concrete actions. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants to build relevant experience, learn how ESG works in practice, and contribute to an area that is becoming increasingly important for companies worldwide. Flexible Working Setup We know that study schedules can vary, and we want this role to be realistic and manageable alongside your education. The number of working hours will be agreed together with the right candidate and may vary from week to week. Some weeks there may be few or no hours, while other periods may require more support. We will do our best to plan the work with flexibility and with respect for your studies, exams, and other commitments. Once you are up and running in the role, there will also be the option to work from home when it makes sense. Key Responsibilities · Collect and structure ESG-related information and documentation. · Help identify where we can strengthen our ESG work and improve our EcoVadis performance. · Support updates of policies, procedures, and other relevant documents. · Help coordinate input from different departments such as HR, Operations, and Compliance. · Research relevant ESG topics, requirements, and good practices. · Support follow-up on practical improvement initiatives. Qualifications · You are currently studying at bachelor’s or master’s level within sustainability, environment, business, communication, or a related field. · You have a genuine interest in ESG and would like to gain practical experience in the area. · You are structured, curious, and comfortable working with information, documents, and follow-up tasks. · You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. · You communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in conversation. · Experience with sustainability, reporting, documentation, or project support is a plus, but it is not a requirement.
