Structured Finance Associate - BESS

The Opportunity: We are partnering with a fast-growing European BESS developer and operator on a Structured Finance Associate mandate. You will play a central role in the origination, structuring and execution of debt financing and equity processes for BESS investments, working closely with internal teams and external lenders and investors. Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing, structuring and securing third-party debt financing (senior, mezzanine, unitranche, bonds) at project, HoldCo and group level
• Financial modelling and valuation for project finance, scenario analysis and investment decisions
• Supporting equity processes including capital raises, investments and divestments
• Lender and investor management, reporting, covenant testing and post-financial close activities
• Transaction support; negotiation and structuring of project documents (tolling, construction, operational agreements)
• Leading and supporting due diligence processes
• Coaching junior team members

Your Profile:

• 2+ years in a financing or investment role
• Strong financial modelling and analysis skills
• Familiar with financing documentation and processes
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and investment committees
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
