What you'll do

What to Expect You’ll be the strategic link between Tesla’s collision network, insurers, and business teams—driving real improvements in how insurance works for Tesla owners. This is a hands-on, results-focused role: you’ll use data to shape premium strategies, accelerate claims and repairs, and build partnerships that deliver measurable savings. You’ll lead cross-functional projects from concept to scale, turning Tesla’s safety and repair advantages into real-world benefits for customers and partners alike. What You'll Do - Analyze collision, claims, and carrier data to benchmark Tesla vs. competitors on premium pricing, repair costs, cycle times, and loss frequency. - Develop and execute strategies to reduce insurance premiums—leveraging direct repair programs, improved estimating standards, parts pricing, and labor efficiency. - Build and lead partnerships with insurers, estimatic vendors, and claims teams to accelerate approvals and improve repair outcomes. - Translate Tesla’s safety and repair advantages (e.g., FSD, direct repair programs) into measurable insurance savings then work with underwriters to pass those benefits to customers. - Lead end-to-end projects: define requirements, align stakeholders, and deliver scalable solutions across business and technical teams. What You'll Bring - 10+ years in collision repair or insurance industry —deep expertise in insurance products, symbol and group ratings, insurance premium pricing models, estimating systems, and prevailing rate assessments. - Proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships, influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments. - Strong data analysis, project management, and process-driven execution. - Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish/Norwegian - Comfort with change, ambiguity, and working across time zones. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, gender identity or any other factor protected by applicable federal, state or local laws. Tesla is also committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Please let your recruiter know if you need an accommodation at any point during the interview process.
