What you'll do

As a Strategic Buyer at Nõberu, you will be responsible for driving and developing the company’s procurement and supply function. The role combines strategic procurement with operational supply management and includes end-to-end responsibility for the flow from forecasting and demand planning to supplier negotiations, purchase orders, production, delivery follow-up and inventory optimisation. You will play a central role in an entrepreneur-driven company, working closely with the CEO as well as Sales, Marketing, Export and Finance. We are looking for someone who can work strategically and long-term while also ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly. Someone who is willing to challenge existing ways of working and take ownership of developing and establishing processes that support Nõberu’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Own forecasting and procurement planning based on sales, growth, inventory levels, campaigns, seasonality and upcoming launches.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels, high delivery reliability and efficient working capital, with a focus on minimising both stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Manage purchase orders and follow production and deliveries all the way through to the warehouse, proactively addressing potential delays or deviations.
  • Own relationships with suppliers and manufacturers and negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times and other commercial terms.
  • Monitor and develop supplier performance and identify opportunities for improved terms and cost savings.
  • Analyse procurement costs, margins, total cost of goods and inventory investment as a basis for sound business decisions.
  • Create structure and efficient processes for procurement, forecasting, supplier performance management and inventory planning.
  • Evaluate and drive the implementation of relevant procurement and supply systems, from needs analysis and sourcing through to selection and implementation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Export, Marketing and Finance to ensure that procurement planning supports the company’s commercial objectives.
  • Support product launches and development projects, taking responsibility for procurement-related activities.
  • Be an active partner in dialogue with key retailers and take full ownership of procurement- and supply-related activities connected to campaigns, forecasts, volumes and commercial initiatives.

Profile We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, analytical and structured, with strong initiative and a high level of ownership. You are confident working with numbers and use data as the basis for decisions relating to forecasting, inventory, volumes, costs and profitability. You are a skilled negotiator and relationship builder, while also being comfortable setting expectations, challenging others and driving issues forward when required. You work proactively, identify risks before they become problems and enjoy a role that combines strategy with operational execution. You thrive in an entrepreneur-driven, fast-paced environment with short decision-making paths, where not all processes are necessarily already in place. You have the ability to create structure, prioritise and manage multiple processes in parallel. We believe you have

  • Several years of experience in procurement, supply planning, demand planning or a similar role, preferably with a combination of responsibilities.
  • Experience in forecasting, inventory management, delivery follow-up and supplier negotiations.
  • A strong understanding of margins, total cost of goods and inventory investment.
  • Experience working with procurement and demand planning systems.
  • Experience with supplier agreements and commercial contracts, including negotiation and follow-up of terms.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills.

Experience in FMCG, beauty, retail or other consumer goods industries, as well as experience working with international suppliers, product development or key retailers, is considered an advantage. Apply by October 21, 2026. Please note that the position may be filled before the deadline.
