Solutions Architect

Solution Architect Location: Sweden – Fully Remote Duration: Until Dec 2027 Rate: Up to €910 per day Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing & Supply Chain We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong IBM i / AS/400 expertise to support applications across a Manufacturing and Supply Chain environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the IBM i application landscape, translating business requirements into effective solution designs, and supporting the full application lifecycle while working closely with business and IT stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, support and enhance IBM i / AS400 applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into solution designs.
• Support application lifecycle activities from design through to ongoing maintenance.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Help ensure the stability and continuous improvement of the application landscape.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience working with IBM i / AS400 environments.
• Experience within Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain.
• Proven Solution Architecture experience.
• Strong application maintenance and support experience.
• Knowledge of IBM Report Program Generator (RPG).
• Experience with DB2/400 / DB2 for i.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the Automotive industry.
• Broader knowledge of IBM i application architecture and legacy systems.

This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced IBM i Solution Architect to work on a key Manufacturing and Supply Chain environment, with fully remote working available in Sweden.
