Solution Architect / Senior Technical Lead

HCLTech is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect / Senior Technical Lead for a client assignment in the automotive industry. You will define end-to-end technical solutions for an environment supporting embedded software processes and systems. As part of the client’s digital transformation, you will contribute to the move from application-centric solutions toward microservices and cloud-based architecture. The role combines architecture, hands-on development and close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Define technical solutions that align with enterprise architecture strategies, existing systems and business requirements.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of cloud-based and microservices architectures.
• Work with delivery teams and stakeholders across technology, production and aftermarket functions.
• Contribute to software development and implementation alongside architectural work.
• Incorporate cybersecurity considerations and DevSecOps practices into solution design and delivery.
• Define and document technical processes, solution designs and implementation approaches.
• Communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and business audiences.

Experience and skills

• Experience in solution or software architecture, supported by a strong software development background.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-based solution design.
• Hands-on coding experience and the ability to work across development environments.
• Experience with embedded software environments or the systems and processes supporting embedded software development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, DevSecOps and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience in process definition, documentation and implementation.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
