Software Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer Gothenburg · Hybrid We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join a highly technical product team building privacy-focused software used by people around the world. This is a backend-heavy role, with Go, Python and C at the core of the stack. You’ll work on systems where performance, reliability, security and clean engineering really matter. The role

• Build and maintain backend services and infrastructure
• Work primarily with Go, Python and C
• Design and develop reliable, scalable systems
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
• Work closely with engineers across the product
• Be comfortable contributing across the stack when needed, including some frontend work

What we’re looking for

• Strong professional software engineering experience
• Solid backend development experience
• Strong Go experience, with Python and/or C
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals
• Experience building production systems at scale
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
