Job Summary: We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a long-term assignment with our client. The role combines Android application development, device provisioning and hardware integration, backend services, and fleet data management. You will build and maintain applications and integrations that support Android devices across the organisation, while investigating new hardware and SDKs through proof-of-concept work. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Android device provisioning integrations with Managed Google Play, Workspace ONE, Samsung Knox, and Zero Touch, while developing and maintaining Android applications for device enrollment, factory reset, firmware updates, RFID testing, and telemetry collection.
• Develop proof-of-concept applications to evaluate new hardware and SDKs, maintain supplier enrollment web applications, and collect, structure, and share device fleet data using BigQuery and Looker Studio dashboards.
• Provide technical support to software teams, troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues, implement secure authentication using Microsoft Entra ID, and document technical solutions and procedures for wider team use.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 7+ years of Strong Android development experience using Experience Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, or Java and XML views or Experience with modern UI frameworks such as SwiftUI, React Native, or Flutter is also relevant, with the ability to learn Jetpack Compose.
• Backend development experience using Node.js, Python, or Java. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous.
• Experience structuring and exposing data through BigQuery or a comparable data warehouse.
• Experience creating or maintaining dashboards using Looker Studio or similar BI tools.
• Ability to develop secure, maintainable, and well-tested production applications while also delivering fast, pragmatic proof-of-concept solutions.
• Interest or experience in enterprise mobility management (MDM/EMM) and large-scale Android device provisioning.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Managed Google Play, Workspace ONE, Samsung Knox, and Zero Touch enrollment.
• Knowledge of device SDKs and peripherals, security and authentication practices, and debugging across software and hardware integrations.
