Senior backend engineer? Build payment infrastructure handling 150M+ API calls every month. At Dintero, you are not working on the edges of a product. You build core systems where failure has real consequences. We develop and operate the entire platform ourselves and control the full payment flow. This is a role for engineers who want to work on serious backend systems that must work, every time. Production at Scale

• 150M+ API calls per month
• 14 engineers – small team, high ownership
• Infrastructure designed for high availability and robust transaction flows

What You Will Work On

• Design and own backend services end-to-end
• Build APIs used directly by merchants and partners
• Make architectural decisions with long-term impact
• Work with scalability, observability, and operational quality
• Ship to production frequently and take ownership of what you build

• AWS (Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora)
• Microservices
• Node.js and TypeScript

We value sound engineering decisions over chasing trends. Your Profile

• You have experience working with complex systems in production.
• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Experience with distributed systems and architectural trade-offs
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end
• Experience where reliability, correctness, or compliance matter
• Cloud experience – AWS is a plus, not a requirement
• Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) is a plus, but not required.
