Social Media Lead

TL;DR - We're looking for someone to own how Lovable shows up on social. You'll manage a team of ICs while still spending part of your time doing creative work (copywriting, storyboarding, directing). You must be based in Stockholm or be ready to relocate. You'll turn releases, features, and behind-the-scenes product work into posts people actually want to engage with. And you’ll set the standard your team works to, creating content for an audience of over 1 million engaged users and community members. Why Lovable? • 12+ years of experience in social media with at least 2 years of managing a team
• Strategic thinking: You know what content belongs on each channel, and which doesn’t, and you can confidently make that case to stakeholders
• Product marketing aptitude: You understand how to turn a changelog or a feature launch into a story that matters to people
• Technical communication skills: You can take a powerful feature and write about it in ways that resonate with both developer and general audiences
• Visual chops: You can create your own product visuals — screen recordings, GIFs, static graphics — or draft a clear brief for Creative teams to work from
• Cross-functional range: You're comfortable working directly with PMM, Product, and Creative, and know how to get what you need from each
• Platform-native instincts: You live on X and LinkedIn and understand deeply what each platform actually rewards
• A portfolio of product social content you've shipped that you're proud of
• Experience using Lovable (genuinely — it'll show)
• You’re based in Stockholm — or ready to relocate

What You'll Do Lead the team

• Manage and grow Lovable’s social team
• Establish an opinionated social media channel strategy and activate the team to deliver against it
• Set the bar for what "good" looks like: give feedback, review work, and help reports do their best work
• Split and prioritize the team's workload across launches, always-on content, and community engagement
• Build a cadence and format library for product content, so every release has a clear path to social, and your team has a system to work from
• Report on and be accountable for team’s metrics

Be hands-on

• Own social media content related to Lovable's product: launches, features, product education, and the work behind them
• Write copy that turns technical concepts into posts a broad audience will follow and want to share
• Work with our Creative team on launch videos and polished static assets
• Partner with Product Marketing and Product to get early visibility into what's shipping and shape how it's announced
• Deepen Lovable's product usage and credibility among both a developer and general audience
• Track what resonates and feed those learnings back into how you and your team plan future launches
