Description Team Overview: The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients. Role Overview: The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK’s Building Services sector. Alternative Heat design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe. We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe. Due to continued growth, we are looking to integrate an Site Supervisor to support our growing team. Job Title | Site Supervisor Location | Vaasa, Finland Hours | 7:00am – 6pm Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4pm Friday 7.00am – 3pm Saturday (during rotation) Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience Responsible to | Project Manager What You'll be Doing The role is responsible for overseeing installation and assembly operations, ensuring engineers and assembly teams work safely, efficiently and in line with programme schedules, quality standards and target dates. Duties include planning and allocating resources, monitoring productivity and KPIs, providing hands-on support, and leading, coaching and developing the team. The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, works closely with engineering, quality, supply chain and Health & Safety teams to resolve issues and improve workflow, and ensures compliance with site safety requirements, including inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, RAMS, permits and daily documentation. Responsibilities also include coordinating on-site meetings, managing subcontractors, overseeing materials and equipment, ensuring all resources are available and maintained, and completing accurate daily reporting, handovers and end-of-shift procedures.
